Where / How is Rattlesnake Beach ?

Looking for an overnight camp between Conception and La Paz. In the past I've stopped at the Free Beach South of Loreto - Juncalito? It's OK- a bit crowded and gross (poop and trash) . Anywhere better - Rattlesnake Beach? Doesn't have to be on the water.

Rattlesnake Beach is south of Juncalito off the road to Puerto Escondido. RB is south of the Tripui trailer park and is on the beach south of the hill.

NICE offer Ligui!

Here are the photos going to Playa Ligui, the site of California's third mission, and the beach (July, 2012):

The only fork driving towards the mission and beach of Ligüí. To the right goes to Ensenada Blanca.

The monument to the washed away mission ruin is also soon to wash away.

Playa Ligüí, A 180º panorama begins here, looking south and swings around to the north…

David K , nice shots shows the beach great . When i was there last week a friend camping on the beach in ligui told me not to tell anyone how empty it was. Great in and out spot for people needing an over nighter or longer time . Great local store close with everthing you need . Lots of great locals looking to rent panga and show you the islands. I've been there for years as everyone knows . Locals could use some outside visitors .

There's a sign on Mex. 1, just over 20 miles south of Loreto.
