At $7000 per kilo that would be $198 for each 1 oz. slice of tuna!!!

edit...after reading article it is actually $7600 per kilo

that equals $215 per ounce

There are currently around thirty Tuna Rings out front of my house and they are being activly tended. I guess Japan doesn't have any Fiscal Cliffs to worry about.
