Ride needed from Cabo in early March
My husband and I (early 60s) will finish our Baja bicycle ride in Cabo in early March. We are then in need of a ride with our bikes/gear back to
either Tijuana, the border or San Diego. We of course can help with driving, fuel, etc. The bus is a possibility if we can't get private
transportation, but does anyone know about putting bikes in the bus? Thanks! (I realize it's early to ask about this but I am not sure how much
internet access we will have once we hit the road.)

Good luck with your ride....and get prepared for many opinions and suggestions about the risks of bicycling the highway in Baja.
Every large town will likely have an internet connection (if you guys are traveling with your own 'puter)....or public use for a fee.
The bus can carry bicycles underneath in the bins.
Have a safe trip
Don't believe everything you think....

Ride back up to the border needed
The two of us will be in Los Cabos in two days, then about the first of March we are looking for a ride back to the border for us and our bikes. We
can share driving and help with gas. We are willing to buy a bike rack if you don't have room in your vehicle for the bikes.

welome to bajanomad and good luck with finding a ride .... I am presuming these are bicycles and not motorcycles, right ?
When you have a chance, tell us about your experiences while riding southward.

Nice journal. Looks like you had a fun ride
Ignore the previous posters, someone who likes bikers will come along and give you a ride,...

Hola, cyclists. You probably have already checked or put an ad on 'rideshare' on Craigslist Baja Sur, but if not here it is:
http://bajasur.en.craigslist.com.mx/
I just scanned it briefly, and there are some that may fit your needs. Good luck and glad you made it safely so far! It would be nice to read your
evaluation of cycling the highway here on Nomads. Cyclists on the Baja Highway are always a Hot Item!
You shouldn't have too many problems getting a lift north for you and your bikes. There are many pickups making that trip. Most of us are glad for
the company and like to hear your trip reports firsthand.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

maybe others can chime in here
my attitude I guess shows,,
but at my age I have a real problem giving rides to strangers
young one at that, they might be more inclined to engage in drugs, ( not saying they are ) but driving them back from Cabo to the border and going
thru many check points for drugs and weapons, It would make me very nervous, you could find yourself in real trouble very fast, 20 or 30 years ago no
problem
