Driving to Cabo this week

Is the highway open without detours from TJ to Todos Santos? Is the Morro still a decent hotel in Santa Rosalia? How about in Mulege with secure parking? Any federally problem area? Thanks for any and all tips.

Drove down Friday and Saturday, roads are better than ever with no detours. I went to Buena Vista so can't comment on the road south of La Paz to TS. Drove with reckless abandon with no police issues. We stayed at the El Morro a few months ago, it wasn't bad but does fill up these days with a number of rooms allocated for mine employees so try not to get there late or call ahead (sorry, I don't have contact info). Have a safe trip....dt
