Findings in San Felipe and Mexicali areas

Found a real cool art gallery just outside of San Felipe. The name of the artist is Rosario and he creates amazing sculptures, jewelry, and paintings. My friend picked up a copper and obsidian bracelet that was handcrafted by him and she absolutely loves it. We also found a spot outside of Mexicali that produces an agave liquor know as Mexicalense. I never knew they produced "tequila" in these parts. Also picked up a cool little art piece of the malecon in San Felipe, a roof tile that has a hand-painted map of Baja.

Those tiles are all over San Felipe. If you have the time they will actually paint whatever you want on the tile. Take a picture down and they will paint in on the tiles for you. One of the best artists for tiles is located in front of the Miramar bar. Arturo is his name I think.

Thanks tacodogtim. I only saw saw them at one of the tourist stores while strolling the backstreet behind the malecon. But than again maybe I wasn't looking hard enough at the other vendors.

Neat stuff, LoyeB.

So 1-10, how do you rate the tequila (and why, if you're open to sharing).:)

What is this item?

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
