The carved animals along Mex. 5? Wasn't by the Campo Pai Pai road, too?

That was before Google Earth images, I think?:?:

I ran a Los Campeones pit along the race course for the Score Baja Internacional ('500') one year... '78 I think... between Hwy. 5 crossing and the coast, near Pete's Campo El Paraiso.

Kendall won the last two H&H races. It will be interesting to see what he has for the SF250.

The area you are talking about is a nice arroyo. When we marked it last week, before 120 looked like it was taking the Borrego route but at 120 we made a hard right. I told Paul our dune buggy group goes up there. Usually we enter through the gate at what looks to be 172 or 174 where the course crosses the highway.

We go in there, make a right about 5 miles in to an abandoned Slate Mining Area and then back out and basically follow that wash (130-120) but head straight east and come out near the cell tower just north of the Military Checkpoint. It is an easy run.

We have tried a few times to find a way WEST to Arroyo Grande from that section but everything we try ends up being a dead end. If you get ever through, send an email please.
