Baja Time lapse Clouds

this is my first attempt at time lapse photo and I feel I have failed. I am posting it here hoping someone can tell me what I did wrong. the flicker is what the problem is, and I dont know why it is there.

all camera setting s were set to manual.
Time lapse done in Lightroom 4.3, shot with Canon EOS 650 T4i with 18 mm F8 1/300 1549 Exposures.at 29.5 FPS

It looks like the white balance is trying to adjust itself.

Here is a video with a lot of time lapse I put together using an iPhone 4S with the Time Lapse app. -

Thanks David. It took a long, long time to create. You should recognize most of the places. Next project will be Baja-only.

Bruce, I hope you figure out your camera. I have some ideas for my next Baja trip.

I got it figured out, I had the camera set to bracket the exposure 1 stop up and one stop down. so every third photo was one stop over and every third shot was one stop under and one in the center for all 1549 photos.

Dumb mistake but that is how we learn

Make sure everything is set to manual, the only thing you want changing is the scenery.

Bruce
I have been doing quite a few time lapses both in camera processing and out. My favorite software to use in Photodex. It allows for all kinds of options. You can try it free and then decide if you want to buy it. Also I have found that shooting 1 frame every 15 seconds seems to be a good spacing for flow.

It is amazing the amount of time it take to get a 1 minute video.

I kind of like the effect, quite often accidents lead to new techniques.

I used an iPhone 4S with this $1.99 app -

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/timelapse/id301050966?mt=8

Then I pieced it together using iMovie on my Mac. The hardest part is standing around for hours watching clouds roll by while guarding my iPhone while not being able to use it for anything else.
