LA FONDA

I got information that La Fonda changed hands yesterday. Joe is helping with transition. Purchase price was 2.75 Million.

A group of 5-7 people bought it with money and prior connections to Las Vegas hospitality industry. Man in charge of restaurant operations is a guy named George.
Has anyone else heard this?

Ate dinner there Thursday night. Had breakfast there Friday morning and saw George and his wife and other partners milling about being introduced to the help.
Friday night at dinner we met George and crew. Nice folks. Wish them well.

I thought Mr. D was asking for 3. George must be a great negotiator.
