DEL BORRACHO - Loreto
We went to Del Borracho and were surprised to find such a neat western -style hamburger joint, with good prices, good food, and lots of people. It is
on the way to san javier, right side of the road. well worth a visit:

we met Vincent:

Bon appetit !

Breakfast, too. Best huevos rancheros in town, although relative newcomer Orlando's provides some healthy competition.

I remember seeing a sign on hiway 1 that says something like:
DEL BORRACHO says Stop by Before you fly

Del Borracho is our idea of a bona fide "biker bar" here in Loreto........
The new owners are great folks, who have made a really smooth transition from the Mike and Cholie era. The food, service and ambiance are up to par.
But we will miss the days when Mike would thrill the heck out of the locals with a burner run of the DEL BORRACHO fuel dragster!

Sounds like a cool place, Blanca.
Looks like we'll have to check it out next time there.
Thanks for the post!

Sunday breakfast special is Eggs Benedict and usually BBQ Chicken for lunch. This place has been there over 5 years now, but the new owners took it
over in Oct 2012 and have made very few changes to the original menu. Great hamburgers and COLD Draft Beer..A MUST stop before flying out of Loreto or
immediately after flying into Loreto..Great owners, too..

That will be interesting to see. Mike and Cholie always closed from May throgh Sept. Couldn't really blame them, that kitchen must get really hot.
Hope they stay open all year.
