Hey, let's drive south to Las Flores

Los Sientos, I could show you many photos of the beautiful desert leading up the valley to Las Flores, gosh, I remember when taking 10 rolls 36 exposures and was very stingy. Now I could post hundreds. Here we are at the jailhouse.

D. Daggett is buried out there some where!!!!

WOW, 1.200 people lived and worked the mine of Las Flores for silver and gold.

Here lies Dick Davitt, the founder of the mine.

Closer look.

Surounded by his family.

Remains of Las Flores.

Baja Bound just put out their April newsletter, and coincidentally, I wrote a story about Las Flores (and the San Juan Mine) for it.

The Dick Daggett who is buried at Las Flores is the son of the man who worked at Las Flores and is said to have built the jailhouse that remains standing today.

The article features a couple of photos from Nomad 'LarryC', as well!
