Km 53 is the correct address for the Halfway House since it is located on the Carreterra Libre, not 1D (the toll road). If you are on the toll road you very well may pass by it at the 60 Km mark, but I am not going up there time soon to verify this.

Exit the Toll Rd. at the Cuenca Lechera sign and turn south, the Halfway House is about one half mile from the turn, on the ocean side of the Free Road.

We haven't visited for a couple years, but from all indications, Chef Jonny is very happy doing his own thing there. I have heard that he travels a lot giving cooking lessons in many places, including cruises.
