the new Marina in San Jose del Cabo

A few weeks ago, Les and I spent a week in San Jose and one day, we went to check out the new marina. The boys wanted to go fishing but no one was catching at the time.

Here are the photos:

Look at the amazing fish cleaning area:

This is the view of a hotel that we also walked through, we met a couple from Texas who were very happy there:

the top floor of the hotel is a bar/restaurant:

and a glass walled pool:

THE ENTRANCE

the hotel was beautifully decorated, but, this one wall was downright bizarre:

This is an eating area that faces the new marina across the way

and the last photo is of the boats in front of the hotel

Progress. I still recall driving out to La Playita on a dirt road, where one could find a couple of bodegas, the La Playita hotel and restaurant, and a bunch of pangas sitting on the berm, just waiting for fishermen.

Reminds me of what happened on Playa Medano in Cabo. With the opening of the Casa Dorado hotel and the re-imagining of the Hacienda, it's more like Cancun, than the Cabo I recall.

and a glass walled pool

That is actually a hot tub.
The pool runs to the left and right of it and has a swim up bar...you cant see it in your photo.
There is a terrific sushi bar up there. It closes at 4:30

For some reason the photo just above did not come through for me.
