Los Vientos BOLA

Anyone have any experiences there good or bad? I need a place with 24/7 AC since it will be summer and I like the location but have never stayed there or seen the rooms.

Los Vientos is pretty nice for LA Bay. I stayed there 2 nights a year ago while I was painting my house just down the beach. The suite-like rooms are relatively new and designed well- tile floors throughout, good size bathrooms and showers, couch/chairs, even had a T.V. Each room has a 6ft slider that opens onto the patio surrounding the pool. They have a convenient on-site restaurant and bar, with a great chef/manager named David (pronounced Da-veed) who is extremely friendly and talented - he insisted on cooking a birthday dinner for my daughter last summer.
They do not have a mooring to anchor a boat, so if you have one you'll either have to pull it out each day or trust your anchor and rig up a land line.
Last couple of times I was down they had a for sale sign on the paved road going in. Not sure what this means in the distant future, but as of a week ago, there were guests out on the beach.
Hope this helps.
