VIBER

Is anyone using Viber on your smart phone in Baja? Have you used it on Sat. WiFi? Looks like it maybe could be a good thing, http://www.viber.com/

It looks like you can only call other Viber numbers. You might want to check out the free Talkatone and Magic Jack apps, they will allow you to call any US number, also if you have an iphone or ipad you can use Facetime to anybody with an idevice. I don't know how well any of them work with a sat. system.

Viber works pretty well here in BCS. I use it on my Iphone and call/text all around Mex, US, and South America.
Signal breaks up every now and then, but overall it works ok.
