Anyone in San Ignacio That Knows The Desert Inn Phone #?

I have searched the internet for their phone number, sent them emails, but have not been able to make a reservation.

The phone number on their website is disconnected.

and Woody, I did contact the Bed and Breakfast but they only allow dogs that have their own beds. We used to have beds until they ate them and I'm not gonna go buy more...........:lol::lol:

Guess Rice and Beans is my next option. I used to just "show up" and find a hotel but those days are over........

With the exception of the July Fiestas, this time of year I would almost guarantee that there will be vacancies at the Desert Inn --- and at the other options in town.

OK, a huge boda or quinceanera might change that picture, but most of the attendees stay with family.

Thanks,
Last year (edit: 2 years ago) we were their for the fiesta in July and that's what scared me!!! Ok, sounds like I'm just gonna show up and hope to find a vacancy. Thanks all!

The Fiesta in San Ignacio is the last week of July 30, 31 and August 1 and 2, I think.

I go for the Cabalgata for the fiesta. It's on the 31st.

As Diana said, it's highly unlikely that you won't find a walk-in vacancy at the Desert Inn. And, yes, Rice and Beans works, too. And, It's way cheaper.

In March we went down to see the whales. First night we could not get room at Desert Inn. The lot was full of buses. Paid 650 pesos for room at Rice and Beans. Second night we paid 650 pesos for room at Desert Inn. I am not sure if Ricardo matches price when he knows DI is sold out? Either way after three of his maggies the rooms/beds all seem the same.

July 31 is the dia de San Ignacio and the fiesta is around that. A great day IMHO as it is my birthday too.
