Punta Final Restaurant/Bar?
Is there a restaurant and or bar in Punta Final? I'm looking for a snack and cold beer for lunch. When I was there 2 years ago I didn't see
anything but I didn't look too hard either. I'm thinking of going down to Gonzaga for the 4th and was just wondering.

Thanks. I didn't know there was one at Sacrificio. What's the story on it? The property didn't look too appealing to me 2 years ago. Wife didn't
feel comfortable either so just drove thru.

El Sacrificio has a bar/ restaurant? Didn't see one when we got the cabin tour in 2011. The place was just way too creepy for my wife and daughter to
stay there.
Punta Final is a private residence campo, I don't think there was ever a cantina established... but am not sure.
So the next choices I am aware of are, in distance from Punta Final:
1) Rancho Grande store/ restaurant... on the highway, across from Pemex.
2) Alfonsina's Resort... 2 miles from Pemex, on the bay... a favorite of mine!
3) Papa Fernandez' Restaurant, 2.5 miles north of Pemex, and 1 mile east.
4) Punta Bufeo Restaurant, 8 miles north and east from Pemex.
5) Rancho Nueva Chapala Restaurant, 36 miles south of Pemex.

Yes El Sacraficio has a restaurant and bar. We only had breakfast when we stayed there last Jan., but they serve lunch and dinner too. The
breakfast was excellent. Creepy, not for us.

Punta Final is private BUT all is welcome there. Great camp spot over the hill looking southward.....access by a dirt road near the house. Excelling
snorkeling / fishing
Rancho Grande store has all you need to make a picnic and to set up your own bar :-)

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

El Sacraficio...... in April of 2013 the restaurant bar was open for breakfast lunch and dinner, they had menus, and the place was busy. I was staying
at Alphonsinas but took a cruise around the bay and stopped by, they had a full camp. As stated, the grocery store at Rancho Grande is very well
stocked, The restaurant there is hit and miss.

Thank you Tom!
I guess the shaded area we parked just past was the 'restaurant' were all the men were sitting at, staring at us, as the (shirtless) manager took us
to the cabins for us to check out?

Let me add, that later the same day we were there, Art and his wife drove in with the big 4X4 motorhome and stayed at Sacrificio a day or two on their
way to La Paz. Art had nothing bad to say about the guys at El Sacrificio... it was just my wife and daughter who got the 'creepy feeling'... like
mrfatboy's wife did...

Creepy to the women in my car... just being stared at by a bunch of men, not one woman there.
I cannot answer for mrfatboy's post, however:

Nothing at Punta Final. All private. I heard they raised the entry fees too.
