Packing for a Baja trip.
This has gotta be the lamest post ever but I felt the need to do it anyway.

I actually get excited to pack for Baja. I'm sure that's the feeling you're getting and just wanted to share it. I'm excited to read one of your trip
reports in a week or two.
Sometimes we others have to live through you others. Hence the reason I visit here often. A little escape of sorts.

oh no not lame by any means....I think most of us can relate to packing for baja. When I used to spend 6 months here and 6 months in Canada...the
whole time up north was spent preparing for the next baja trip!...I was sort of in a constant state of packing...I feel your baja love brother.

Ateo, thank you for the tease! Have fun... post a trip report... visit another mission on your trip! Great to show the California school kids that
there are 27 California missions on the peninsula that don't get much mention in our California schools!

I got your mission book with me David. I'm driving at the moment so can you recommend the closest mission to visit near San Juanico to visit?

La Purisima... but only rubble and the crypts of the padres remain. You pass many on the way south, however. See the maps in the book to get an idea
of what you may be near... and the numbers on the map are the mission numbers, based on the founding date... ie. Loreto = #1, etc.
