Let me try this link again.

OK...that's better.
I can only guess the hours are the same going in as going out:

5 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week is correct.
Here is a picture from the border line-up at 9.30 am weekday.

be careful...don't ever assume you'll be able to cross at 11pm

they shut the gate and if you are in line...well...plan on a trip to tj

I've waited up to 5 hours at tecate...not usual but it should be in your plan

Because there are so few gates at Tecate, the secret to a swift crossing is timing of arrival. Outside of holidays and weekends, mid day, say 11am til 3pm, one may get through in less than 1/2 hour.

So plan to stay busy elsewhere if your time conflicts with the slow times there.

I realize that for some, business requirements may force you to arrive at a peak period, but for those leisure travelers, Tecate can be a breeze, depending on timing of arrival.

We had a 20 minute wait recently, arriving at noon on a Tuesday.

But I'm also reminded of the just passed immigration reform bill by the Senate. Provisions include tens of thousands of more Border Patrol agents and seven hundred miles more of border fence.

What are fearing? There's no fence along the Canadian border.

Don't count on a short wait midday during the week. A few Tuesdays ago I crossed around noon and it took 1.5 hours. I'll walk to the dentist next time!

A friend who is a frequent crosser in Tecate said the border guards told her around 4:30 PM is the best time during the week.

Yep, this is good. I have it on my phone and my computer. Out of curiosity, sometimes I'll check it at various times during the night to see how long the wait is.
