La Paz dentist?
My wife needs some serious dental work done, which is likely beyond our means in the US. We have heard of good dental facilities in La Paz.....Anyone
help us with contact numbers etc? Thanks

FYI: this may have been "beat to death" but please use the search function "dentist" and try to wade through the postings to find anything remotely
useful..I could not...Much of it is consumed by the perennial off topic posters peeing on each other....I appreciate your info.........

I'll second the recommendation of Yxchel, we have been
really happy with her. Very professional, and reasonably priced. I just saw her last week and have another appointment on Jueves.

Several of us in Mulege have used Yxchel and are very happy with her..
Best if you take cash (peso) to pay with also.. Her equipment is better than our dentist in the states. I believe she is also a professor or teaches
at the University...
Also, if you look for a place to stay we recommend Casa Buena B&B directly behind the mercury marine store.. gated, clean, reasonable, easy
to get anywhere from
You can get their info from Mike and Elizabeth,, they just stayed there last week.. and they have also used Yxchel..

Yxchel takes credit cards.
So does Casa Buena.
She also has an Implant Specialist working with her in her clinic now.

I personally think that Talamantes is the best dentist in all of La Paz and have used him for 3 implants as well as lots of other work. I have not
used the son, but several of my friends have and he gets great reviews too.

Every time the topic is revisited, there is new info. This is what I have compiled so far, no personal experience:

I see some other number now, and also for a farther - not Junior. Hopefully Nomads would correct - which one, and what number.

3) Dra. Patricia Camon Sanchez: 124-2224 office,
612 141-6171 Cell - she speaks English. The office phone answerer doesn't.
About paying in pesos: the only time I had to do this in Baja, was in Ensenada, and the price was quoted in USD. When they quote in USD, paying in
pesos is usually more expensive.
