Did that second car jump completely over all the parked cars? How were the drivers?

The driver of a race vehicle in the Off Road Cabo 250 ran over several spectators, among them two minors. The accident occurred near colonia Leonardo Gastélum, near the "El Chino" junkyard.

Preliminary versions of the accident indicate that the driver of a blue Jeep Cherokee, Number 9, with plates 190-PMU-1, lost control of the vehicle when he hit a mound of dirt a few yards from where some spectators were observing the race.

Losing control, the driver ended up running over three people, two minors who were 17 and 5 years old, and a woman whose information is
uinknown. Those injured, one of which is serious, were taken to the General Hospital in Cabo San Lucas.

The driver of the race vehicle, named Rafael Montaño, was taken to the IMSS hospital.

This same sort of accident has happened numerous times, yet spectators still insist on congregating on the outside of curves.
