el salto campground and waterfall
I was just foolin around guadalupe valley today, where the extraction of gringo dollars has overtaken the extraction of grape juice. comin back I
decided to check out el salto, K76 of the free road just south of la mision.
beautiful manicured camp sites with picnic tables, built in bbq's, FLUSH toilets and even showers.
its an easy mile walk back through a river bed to a narrow steep walled rock canyon thats incredibly deep, no way down. pools below had water but
nothing running. a must see when the river is flowing!
here's a file photo.

Beautiful and refreshing. Didn't know about this loveliness.
Thought you were speaking of El Salto that's over on the Bay of Conception peninsula.

And there's also the Arroyo El Salto in the region east of San Quintin and Rancho Nuevo---pretty neat area I explored years ago.
