Randoms, Baja pg3

Some more randoms of our Baja trips.

Balandra

The sunrise from our apartment's balcony at Los Aripes apartments in el Centenario...lovely place!

Land's End

Playa El Tesoro in La Paz

El Requeson, sunrise

Awesome Cirio

Going fishing!

140 Lbs Marlin.

La Isla del Espiritu Santo.

Nice view.

The moonrise over La Paz as seen from Los Aripes apartments in El Centenario

On our way to camp in Cabo Pulmo. Check out my uncle's socks! You would think it was 1980...

Pilot whales, the captain of the boat did not let me jump in to swim with them...I almost just did it anyway but I figured I did not need to upset the man that I was relying on for a ride back to El Tecolote beach...

As I sat there staring at the peaceful Sea of Cortez, I realized what I already knew. A place more beautiful I will never know. The Baja, a place that overwhelms my senses with beauty; a place that cradles my soul.

Sweet! This wonderful sharing of Baja can only help Baja... and the idea of charging to post photos is as faulty as it gets, IMO!

Charging? Who? Sharing pics should always be free...

Thank you so much. I miss the Baja and find myself daydreaming about being there more often than not. Either thinking about my next trip, planning the details of my next trip or remembering the good times and beautiful sights of my last trips.

I agree... In another thread, a couple of Nomads said pictures shouldn't be free and that the 'giver' should pay! I guess there are some web site forums that charge a fee. I can only see that as viable if the photo was of something for sale. Photos on Nomad attract people to Nomad, promote Nomad, and promote Baja travel for the good of the Baja people.

Well, good luck with any other sites charging. That is a thing of the past. With today's social media channels, you would have to be crazy or not savvy at all to pay to post any pics anywhere. You are right, this site is a community, we all love the Baja and we like to talk about our Baja adventures as well as show the amazing pics we have taken. This media only promotes what we like...Bajanomad.com and the Baja communities.
Talking about charging...does anybody know how to cancel my subscription to Columbia CD club?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Back in the sixties, I'd join their record club and they'd send me a big stack of albums........then a bill for something or other.
I'd just write across the envelope, "Killed in Nam" and return it never to hear from them again.

Maybe you could do the same saying Detroit instead of Nam.
