I haven't seen blue Ca plates in a long time. are they coming back?

Just watched "Bullet" .... and that was on the Mustang that "Steve" drove ... the old CA plate ... flashed me .. Big Time ... ... along with the
price of gas in San Francisco, at the time ...

I wonder how many Nomad's who are in law enforcement have already checked the background info on this plate and know exactly who this is?
