Asuncion-San Hipolito road update & beachcombing report

Yesterday 2 gringos invited me along on a beach combing outing so I could show them a secret spot for cool rock hunting. We were delighted to find that the road from Asuncion to San Hipolito had been freshly graded...hooray...smoothing over the many little wash outs from the last storms.

We had a wonderful morning looking for treasures and a nice visit with my sister in law Tita in San Hipolito where the fishermen are busily finishing up making their lobster traps for the season that starts Oct.1st.

Here are my favorite finds of the day....some coral, a great green rock and other critters we came across.

Interesting photos Shari...

The road was in great shape last Summer, too... They were installing a water pipe along it (in it) and it was freshly graded from La Bocana to Asuncion highway jcn.
