Los Jardines in SQ.

Hotel Cirios in SQ.

How about that new hotel on the right side of the road just before Colonet? That place looks new and clean.

We stayed in that new hotel in Colonet and it was really nice with a decent restaurant. I always drove by it and thought " who would stay there... weird location"
Until a buddy's buggy broke down and we ended up being stuck there for the night! Nice rooms and nice showers.

Motel Sonora at the north end of San Vicente, west side of the highway. Good, clean, inexpensive.

Yes, we have stayed there----basic, small, nice people, clean and only negative is it can be a bit noisy with late night travelers.

There is also a small hotel behind the restaurant, Valantinas in San Vicente. We have not stayed there as they do not accept dogs, but it appears OK and the people are really great.

I'll second (or third) Hotel Sonora if a basic room fills the bill. We've always found it clean and a good place to stop and sleep southbound if I don't feel like driving all the way to SQ. Even has TV but viewing is limited to whatever the family running it is watching.

Another option if you're north of SQ and south of Colonet is Posada Don Diego in Vincente Guerrero. Clean, large rooms, on-site restaurant, very quiet rural location. Head west at the propane plant at the south end of VG, there's a sign but it's easy to miss.
