Road construction on Mex-1 south of Vizcaino

Has anyone been through the road construction south of Vizcaino lately? I'll be pulling a boat down next week and was hoping that it was completed. Any updates would be appreciated.

construction_bypass dirt road

We came through last Tuesday-Thursday, San Diego to Loreto. The biggest construction was south of San Vincente in the vineyard area with about 2 miles of dirt bypass around road construction. There is directional control and pretty rough going on the dirt. The next major event is road repair/blacktop re surfacing between Burro Beach and about 20 miles south. That one just rattles a lot of loose gravel and throws some tar.

Thanks Ed; I'm leaving tomorrow so I appreciate the update. Glad that the Vizcaino stretch is done! Hope that we don't get rain tomorrow and turn the San Vicente stretch into mud.
