K&T a lot of folks, back in the day, preferred the arroyos south of the air strip, Shell Beach, to the camp beach. It is now mostly private lots
and so access to those loved arroyos is not maintained. Legal for foot traffic of course. Not near as many rattle snakes now either. It has been
settled by foreigners that have built large homes that visit a couple times a year. The camping beach is open and no matter how much we ask the owner
to improve it he feels it isn't worth the expense to put in basic improvements. Most of the folks here that have been around more that 15 years came
up after beaching it for several years. Some a couple of decades. I miss the old attitude and basic feel of the place now. Being a hermit I can avoid
most the rat race though. 90% of the folks here are really good but bring a US city preference with them.
Sorry about the rant

Los Chibatos restaurant should be open by now but I hear Bobby is opening one in La Paz to compete with his sister and brother.
