TIJUANA. - A passenger bus circulating on the Mexicali-Tijuana wagon caught fire Saturday morning in La Rumorosa, authorities said.

The officers explained that the incident occurred when the bus they were traveling 15 passengers plus the driver, suffered a short circuit in the rear, causing it began to burn.

They noted that the pilot warned travelers of what was going on, who immediately sought an area to park, and then exit the transport.

They explained that once the unit evacuated, the flames completely consumed, with no reported injuries.

They added that firefighters arrived to the scene, along with brigade members and agents of the Federal Highway Police, who directed the traffic.

Finally, they said that after several hours, the road regained its normal traffic.

Been on a lot of buses in Mexico, but never one that looked like that??? If it was a bus in this accident, maybe the journalist just pulled up an old photo of a truck burning?

Whatever it is, I just hope no one was injured.
