the Later the Better for big Yellowtail in Asuncion

The fall fishing season hasnt been as epic as it usually is...not everyone gets their limit of YT every trip but there are better days than others. Yesterday was one of those days when our fly-in clients got a real work out hauling in some monsters over 40 lbs.

Sweet ride eh!

And they lost a couple bigger fish...one took the whole hook off the rapallas butt! and another straightened out a hook.

check out this filet eh!

Folks are still getting halibut off the town beach too...I think I see Timo1 out here right now!

Now that's a plane! Cessna 340. Beautiful yellows. Orange pants could use a lesson in how to fillet a yellowtail though.

Orange pants did just fine! Probably just didn't "clean it up" yet.
