Some Baja Essentials

Merry Christmas Eve all. A random picture I took while packing for Baja shows a few Baja essentials. My favorite is the green licorice.

That's funny Bob. Sometimes I feel like I pack like that. I really like my burro. Four shocks, a torsion bar, and 3500 lb. axle with electric brakes, 16" 10 ply tires and a 5500 lb. hitch. It tows like a dream, and is soft enough to haul eggs!

I once hauled all the framing and roofing for a 7 x 8 foot bodega to San Nicolas' concealed as a 48" tall "camper shell" on that trailer. (13 - 2x4 rafters and multiple layers of corrugated roofing and siding!) It was so top heavy that is when I added two shocks positioned perpendicular to the line of travel.:lol::lol::lol:

My Landsailer weighs less than 100 lbs., the re-purposed lumber rack is heavier!. It should be a trouble-free load unlike when I put my small Landsailer on top of my cab-over a couple years ago and tore down an electrical line at the fisherman's beach at La Bocana!!

Word that I had actually taken out a notoriously low #14 strand of Romex feeding the PORCH LIGHT on the pump house was a lot slower getting around!
The same dude who took my license and ran the abalone farm scam later sold me a tee shirt with the pocket logo printed on the right rear shoulder. I looked at a medium and liked the shirt, he sold me a rolled-up mis-printed large. Quite a slick customer.

Quite a careless gringo!:bounce::bounce:
