Requesting info on the new City Club "Costco-like" store in La Paz
Ruors were running wild here in Mulege about the new Costco store opening up in La Paz. Turns out it's not a Costco store afterall, rather a "City
Club" Costco look-a-like. Any first hand reports about location in La Paz, and impressions of service and value would be greatly appreciated. I
understand it just opened up for business.

Not much first hand information...
It's located on Fajoradores, in the same complex as Sorianas. A friend of mine went last Wednesday, grand opening (I guess), she said it took 30
minutes in line to get in. Good prices, good quality. I certainly hope it's better than the CSL costco, very disappointed! I'll check it out when
the crowds subside next month.

City Club is way better than costco. they have a nice website check it out.
Prices 30 % lower
better variate

A La Paz newspaper said City Clubs are Costco's answer to the Sam's Clubs of Wal-Mart. Like Tucker, I'm waiting till the crowd thins out.
CCC stores are owned by the Ruffos, who have a better idea of the local market than either Soriana's or Ley's because they've been catering to it
since the early 1900s, when Antonio Ruffo opened La Perla de La Paz. (CCCs, like La Perla, feature an old-fashioned deep-sea diver's helmet in their
