Thanks Blanca... I am trying to avoid shipping just because we'd have to then figure out how to get it from the bus station, or post office, or
wherever. Plus you can't pay the shipping company with yellowtail fillets.
And also, great to meet you Saturday, and thanks for the tour and your hospitality! We had a good lunch at the coop and were able to get paddles
from them, no charge. It was a wonderful evening paddle around the lagoon, and the grabbed some strawberries for dinner from a vendor on the main
drag (get some if you can, they're excellent!).

One more shot. We'll be through Vizcaino and headed south the afternoon of the 9th.

No one coming south? A good meal is a good offer!
I also had the strawberries and they were indeed delicious! Les even made a fresh strawberry jam spread for us.
FYI there is an American in town who sells fishing gear etc. if you are interested in going that route.
Hasta la vista.

Drat! Leaving here on the 9th is just about the only part of our trip that's not flexible. We need to be down south (La Ribera) on the 10th.
Glad you found the strawberries, Blanca. We chased down the Asuncion fresa guy a couple days ago and can now say conclusively that La Bocana has
superior berries.
The rods that I'm after are specialized fly rods which apparently can't be bought anywhere in Baja. Ah well. I'll try again when we re-establish
down south if nothing comes up in the next couple days.
