Guadalajara

We are going to Guadalajara for a few weeks for R&R and to look for a leather sofa. Anyone know of an active forum in that area. We tried a couple with no response. We're just looking for general getting around town, shopping for furniture and eating recommendations. Guadalajara Nomads????

There are and have been some killer leather sofas at Tienda 17, the consignment shops on Centenario. One is right beside Chiapas feed and seed and the other is a half block before the bridge.
I am in San Jose BTW
For Guadalajara, you might want to find a guide to save time

I have used the service of Jose Orozco in Guadalajara. He knows the city inside out. His specialty is furniture and he knows the local manufacturers.

Try to find a manufacturer who uses oak rather than pine for frames. Roble o Encino. From the school of hard knocks.
