A random clump of Baja 1000 prerun photos (BCS)

Here's a random clump of Baja 1000 prerun photos taken between Bahia Concepcion and Punta Conejo from a few years ago. Enjoy.

Near Santa Rita. Aqui.

Lunch in Cuidad Insurgentes

Several teams staging at La Mision in Loreto for a day's prerun:

Verdant desert north of Loreto:

Dorado tacos at Buenaventura:

Thanks. And a word of warning: there is no turnaround before the gate at the top. The width of the road is exactly what you have to work with - even slightly problematic for the Tacoma.

Here's the view from the top. Highway 1 runs across the second photo.
