Wonderful!

Zella (CAREM) was so excited about you getting there, she wrote me! How about photos, trip story, etc. A link to the Facebook page about it would be great...

Thanks Teddi!

Every person we met on this exciting journey is a story waiting to be told but the real heroes of this trip were our "wheels", the mules! The northern vaqueros mostly use horses but they all seemed to quietly admire our unshod, eat-anything, go 24 hrs without water, travel anywheres and get there safely all wheel-drive animals that could camp anywhere. Those horses needed shoes and required alfalfa at every meal and just were not quite as sure-footed as our wheels.:bounce:

Admiration for your mules and especially you muleras!

Sharing in your well-earned happiness. You've all done something pretty darned special.

Celebrate!

The second person in the photo and perhaps the group's inspiration is Eve Ewing... I posted the magazine story about the trip that began in December, 1963, here: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=64257
