We like Posadas Del Ryal one block off the main drag. Secure parking and nice rooms.

Hola El Jefe. I'm work with baja-spirt, to find a place in constitucion. I was wondering if you knew the address of Del Ryal? And do they have a big enough place for trucks and trailers to park? As we are bring are RZR's down to ride around out side of town and to the sea. Thanks for any info.

Palapa 206 is a park with six, I think, motel rooms about two miles south of Constitucion on the west side of Mex. 1 (at kilometer 206). It is a nice, quiet place with unlimited parking for trucks, trailers, etc. run by good people. If you don't need to be, or would prefer not to be, in town, Palapa 206 is a good choice.

I know you asked about Constitucion.....but....another good place is just north in Ciudad Insurgentes:

Hotel Misiones....6 rooms. very clean and friendly, new, secure parking.....on west side of highway a hundred yards or so south of the traffic circle:

Hotel Paraiso del Valle on the main drag is quite nice. Decorated with Christmas lights. Big interior courtyard. Restaurant out front. 450p gets you a spacious, clean room with big king bed and secure doors. We've stayed there a couple times and really liked it.

We won't be stopping in Constitucion again in the near future due to some police shenanigans a few months back, which is a shame because that hotel's a great midpoint and there's a killer burrito stand just down the street.

Edit: Found the name, Paraiso del Valle, and corrected the price.

Thanks motoged. I think we'll give it a try in a week or so, on our migration back north.

Chavycha,
You are welcome....Missiones Hotel is about $460 MP a night.....and they can make you breakfast if you like (at least they did in January as they have a little cocina looking into the courtyard).

I think it is a great place and helps folks avoid Constitucion for an overnight if they want to do so....for whatever reason.

There is an Oxxo type store next door to the hotel (not an Oxxo, but similar) for some basic needs....and some good places to eat in the town just north of the traffic circle....and a Pemex 50 yards south on the east side of highway....
