If it isn't on Google Earth, then it doesn't exist... right?
Okay, just kidding... but seriously even the AAA map shows a road to San Sebastian from the bottom of Bahia Concepcion.

BW,
I have been to the north tip of the peninsula and have also ridden over to San Sebastion and San Nicholas.
The road access is from the very southern tip of Bahia Concepcion and is an easy-to-miss turn on the east side of the highway. Baja Almanac has the
roads indicated, I believe.
And if you zoom in on Google maps, the track to San Sebastion is evident.
San Sebastion is a gringo enclave that seems to prefer to not have visitors....but some are friendlier than others....the beach is rocky more than
sandy and not a picnic site
The entire area is worthy of exploring....hope you get to do it some day

One actually HAS to physically visit those sandy areas, for the maps to make sense.
On the other hand, I HAVE visited all those sandy beaches and swam in the warm bathwater...
It is sublime!

Well, come on out to San Nicolas.
It's interesting and a heck of a lot friendlier than San Sebastian.

You should be able to get to San Sebastian in a 2 wheel drive just fine.
You can get to San Nicolas, too, with a 2 wheel drive, but getting across the arroyo can be a pain without 4X4 sometimes.

Looked at both on GE I see the arroyo just before SN Kinda wide and sandy,
I've got Positraction on the rear wheels and may come out and look first by walking across the sand to see how soft it is.
Now, any fishing in either area? Come on now, you can tell me, no one is listening! OK?
Is it common that when folks come out to explore they ask and bring something the residents might need? Food? Booze? Etc?
Why the commentary on "unfriendlies" at SS? How unfriendly to visitors? Wouldn't want to go all that way just to get rocks thrown at me :-)

Air pressure dropped in the tires will give you more assistance than the posi, in sand and other obstacles.

Cliffy,
The last person that went to SS wrote me back and said he couldn't wait for morning to get out of there.
You can not launch a boat from there because the houses surround the beach and the locals don't want to share their beach and cove. But go ahead and
try it.
As for San Nicolas, there is jurel, baquita, pez fuerte, cabrilla and pargos. Good fishing. You fish around Ile de Fonso Island. And forgot to
mention grouper. And shell fish.
There is a campground with bathrooms and cold showers with fresh water. And a Palapa with a kitchen to rent. Both owned by Terry Bastida and very
reasonable.
There are several pangueros to take you out if you don't have a boat with you.
People are friendly and helpful.
There is a local store for canned and dry goods, eggs, onions and potatoes. Cold pop and juice. One or 2 people in town sell beer.
The road coming in is the best it has every been in the 8 years I have been here. . . .but it hasn't rained yet, either!
We are here until the end of June. Just ask for the Mule gal. I live 1 mile up the arroyo on the south side and have 100 fruit trees and am between
the 2 windmills.
Let me know if we can help with your plans.

Thanks DK I've done the tire pressure stuff long ago also. Also used a piece of chain link fence to get unstuck in soft sand also.
I may just have to take a look.
