Tony's in La Paz
Introducing Tony's Restaurant/Bar in La Paz
We had an amazing treat today! We went to Tony's on the Malecon for pizza and Negra Modelo beer on draft.....check out the deals!

Super thin crust pizza. - We had the house special, delicious!

But this little notice had Les all smiles from ear to ear and for sure wanting to head back!

We highly recommend this place, especially for lunch. The breeze was cool, the people watching fun and the conversation with Bajanomader Akmaxx
really interesting. Ours was the first pizza out of the oven for the day and it was toasty and delicious. The idea of putting the menu on wine
bottles, repurposing the bottles, is nothing short of brilliant. ((((:
Service was fast, beer very cold and there are other pastas and salads offered as well.
Thanks Max and see you again soon. Congrats on creating a wonderful venue.
I have decided I will take the college freshmen for pizza one of these weekends ... If anyone wants to meet them in living color come along! If
anyone wants to sponsor a pizza for them, even better, then I can let them bring their significant others ....
For those who have not been to Tony's before, it is close to La Perla Hotel and next to Oxxo.
And perhaps we will be there again this Tuesday

The pizzas are 95 pesos! And the beer was on the house (((((:
Can you beat that???
So our total came to a little over 100 pesos or less than $10.
And my Man had a smile on his face, which was priceless.

Excellent visit with Blanca and Les......
Rex is welcome too because Tony's is on the Malecon and therefore on the sidewalk where all dogs are welcome. We can provide a bowl of water for them
and maybe a meatball (depending on the chef's whims).
Nice meeting Blanca and Les and I hope to see them again.
Cheers,

Derek and Shari, come on down! The lady who rented to us has plenty of furnished apts. Derek: we are down for a month.
Maxx, it was so fun and we will return muy soon.
Lori, Max answered your question and I find that all the restaurant businesses that are on the sidewalk have no problem with pets, so bring poodle
with you...we left Rex home, it was far too hot for a British pooch to be wandering like we were.
BTW. We older folks are party poopers but Max says that his two places, Tonys and Fritz are packed full every night at 10 pm.

Thanks for both responses regarding pet friendly places on the malecon. I will give the caniche her short summer haircut in a few weeks, so she won't
be too warm for La Paz in June.
(That's a nice thing about poodles: you can cut their hair very short, and since they have hair like humans instead of fur like other dogs, it grows
back quickly, plus no allergies. Downside: they require frequent trips to the groomers.)
Looking forward to La Paz- it will be nice to relax with a cold drink, tasty food, and watch the world go by, unlike our camping trips at the lagoons,
where I was concerned about encountering coyotes...
