K38 Club Marena Bday Weekend

Getting caught up on posting a few reports............

This was a few weeks ago during a decent south swell.

The pizza was fabulous at Ollies. They sang me Happy Birthday and gave me some free desert. The pirated DVD's the dude was selling outside were worth the couple of bucks. Oh wait. I didn't buy any illegal DVD's, just thought about it.

Jesus was watching over us:

The rental. We got a smoking deal, about half price.

Ollie:

Can you believe someone dognapped this guy?

My wife made some kick butt food as well:

They were packed. Richard took the time to come over and ask "How are we treating you?"

I told him, "you treated me and my stomach well."

I was at 38K when I was 20. The fisherman who lived there let us sleep on the floor of his place on occasion. Mostly we had tents on the point and loved it. Rum was $3.50 for a large bottle unit and it worked. I did the math and that was 50 years ago. It still looks like a great point break. Thanks for sharing how it could be done without the crowded tent because the break looks the same.
