Baja 500 Photos

Pitting with Checkers near RM292, El Diablo in the background. Days were low 100s with light to moderately gusty winds.

Bryce Menzies, the first Trophy Truck across the finish line.

Jason Voss, second place TT.

The Parkhouse Class 1 was the first to finish in class.

Our pits had a great view of the course.

Cows on the course near RM290 - I shoo'd them from the course with my Tacoma.

Subsequent to my herding, a rancher and lots more cows appeared - apparently driving them somewhere.

Not so good. We lost all three cars early in the race, in the neighborhood of Erendira and Uruapan. Nasty silt, several bottlenecks. The TT and Class 1 lost motors, and the Class 10 blew a transmission. There's been better race days.
