Residency Status

I am a property owner on the Baja and are considering obtaining" Temporary Residency Status". If I obtain TRS will I be required to import the vehicle boat and ATV that I currently leave in Mexico? Also are their and tax or other issues I need to be aware of.

I would appreciate your knowledge and wisdom fellow Nomads.

Thanks in advance.

Unless you are planning on being in Mexico for over 6 months at a time without returning to Canada, I wouldn't recommend going through the hassle of obtaining and renewing a residencia temporal. You will be able to do anything you need to do with a tourist visa.
