Looking for Wedding Reviews of La Mision hotel in Loreto

Hola
We are looking to have our wedding at the La Mision Hotel in Loreto.

Have you been to a wedding put on by or at La Mision?

Have you had your wedding or know somebody who has had theirs at La Mision?

We are interested in any and all information you may provide us on your experience

We know the hotel and restaurant and are happy with that, but really want to know what the real deal is when they put on a wedding.
Thank you for any information you can send our way!

Don't know about La Mision for weddings but it's a spectacular location and the place looks first class from the malecon.

Consider The Rancho in Pescadero. Easier to get in/out of the airport in SJ. 45 minutes from Cabo. This is a class act resort, I've witnessed lots of weddings there (not first hand but at a distance), and appears to have it all. Dinner there is great, and Herba Buena (restaurant) is 5 minutes by car.

They even have major fireworks at nite for the wedding party. The location, accommodations and beach is hard to beat. Plus, you're minutes from Todos Santos.

I haven't been to a wedding there but can tell you this...when we stayed there last year, we witnessed from our room the set up for a wedding and I couldn't believe how meticulous the staff was...they washed down (not just sprayed down) every patio poolside chair, every poolside table and umbrella and even the wrought iron fences around the patio area were cleaned by hand. The patio/pool area was white glove clean by the time they got done with it. I know this doesn't lend much in your search for experiences with the place...but is reassuring to know the preparation was first-class!

As a person who has done many weddings, when we were there I thought how beautiful a wedding would be out on the island there, white sand, blue water, and although the logistics of (boat ride there) organizing it for a large party might be a bit challenging but I'm sure certainly doable...it's veryyyy beautiful there for a toes-in-the sand ceremony, and then the reception in town!

La Mision will be beautiful too!

My wife and I met with their wedding/event planner in 2012 at La Mision. Not until we decided to get married state side it was our #1 choice. Everything seemed top notch, and they seemed very flexible and accommodating. The roof top wasn't finished yet(may be now), but after going up on top, its location shot to the top of our list. They were going to to do room blocks, rehearsal dinner on Coronado, and had a list of vendors that would come from LA PAZ if that was needed. I forget the planners name now, but If you can pull it off, I was under the impression the hotel could too.

For another idea we really liked LA Picazon for our rehearsal dinner. Can't beat the view of Coronado or the food. Congrats.

Pricey, but absolutely worth it.

BajaLuna,twgracing,
Thanks a lot, that is very helpful. Not knowing anybody that has had one down there and no direct Wedding reviews is tough to deal with. But its good to know how meticulous they were for that one.
La Picazon for a dinner party would be as good as it gets, but the dirt road is a bit of a transportation mess.
