Surprised???

The scenic highway (toll road) between El Mirador south of BajaMar to San Miguel has been slipping since it was first built.

Right after they completed the toll road, there was a subsidence at the San Miguel toll booth area.

Many of the comments are reasonable: don't throw good money after bad, widen/ improve the inland route thru La Mision, etc.

It has certainly made life quieter at San Miguel, now that trucks and traffic at the tollbooth are gone.
