yeah, go out to punta eugenia and follow the road around until it abruptly ends at a huge sheer cliff. great surf fishing and the remnants of an old
resort still remain. a very cool side trip!

The gas docks a favorite place to jump off and swim, and Turtle bay a great place for a boat to wait for a hurricane to head inland, did that in 2011

Are those from an old resort? I thought they were old military, but I sure don't know for sure --- curious.
But I agree--- drive out there as it is one of those end of the world spots that is BEAUTIFUL.

That Punta Eugenia cliff sounds great. Thanks. I will drink some gas and jump off the dock while I'm there as well. Is that the kind of fuel dock
you speak of?

There is also a nice little restaurant overlooking the dock -- last time we were there, we had to wait for the lady's nephew to return to shore so
we could have fresh fish. It was worth the wait. :-)

Really good kayak fishing just outside of the bay to the north and south. The locals do not seem to fish them very hard. The biggest grouper I ever
got was there.
Also you can jump to Nias from Punta Eugenia. we have done it a couple of times.

X2, cool trip. We went out there on Fathers Day and were flagged down by a local family in Punta Euginia and invited to join them for a bar b que.
When was the last time you were stopped on the street in the US by strangers and invited for dinner?
Same thing happened on Christmas Day around the south end of the bay. We were looking for a place to camp and encountered a family of fishermen
preparing to have a Christmas lobster feast, they insisted that we join them.

Playa Malarrimo also has some of the best beach combing in BCS.
Don't forget to say HOLA to the fishermen at the fish camp. The beach combing is south east of the fish camp. Follow the dirt road out of the camp and
stop almost anywhere. You'll probably find quite a bit of stuff from ***ushima.
