Looks like our boy came in 5th place in Class 1500 (like Score Class 1)! To finish any off road race is an accomplishment, but with so many competitors in that class, 5th place is pretty good.

He texted Baja Angel last night from the finish line (near Carson) and he is getting a ride back to San Diego today... We will go visit with him tomorrow and hear the fun we hope he had!

Talked to Josh this morning... had a great time as co-driver. One flat (a BFG) was the only problem getting to the finish, 3-5 min to change the tire and that was with a nearly dead battery on the wrench so manually tightening the lug nuts back on...

So far, they placed 5th in class, but could be bumped to 2nd or 3rd depending on how points are added/ subtracted. May take a few days to finalize. Because they finished and pretty well, the team may race Parker. Josh has the racer back in Santee and will begin cleaning it and prepping it for the next race. It was a very rough course and they punched a hole in the skid plate. They were faster than many of the bikes and quads, passing many of them before the finish.

Good looking car. They should take you for a spin in the desert and open it up.

No SCORE that I know of. All Best In The Desert races. The Henderson 250 is next. Josh is co-driver for the entire race.
