Driving San Quintin Peninsula

Want to head out and do some kayak fishing and was wondering if anyone has driven out to the end of San Quintin Peninsula recently . Took a motorcycle out there years ago but now want to bring my f-250 diesel 4X4 but the beast does not do well in soft sand.

We live out on the beach just north of there and drove down to the point just days ago. It is doable but I would air down a bit first. Be extra careful if your truck is loaded down as there are a lot of sharp and jagged rocks. The swell we are expecting in the next few days may very well move things around a bit so definitely be careful. A lot of folks just park down at the end of the beach and walk the last few hundred yards...
