Impressive! And surprised he wasn't flying the helo.
We were at the HDRA Reno 500 a couple years ago - BJ landed his helicopter next to us (he was a student pilot), and chatted it up with us under our EZ
Up shade. He had a sprain or something, which prevented him from participating in the race - someone else was driving his truck. So we got to learn
about piloting a helicopter from BJ.

Very impressive!!! For sure!!!
But for the amount of money invested it outta be good.
We finished second in the pickup class in the 1972 1000 with a total investment (including vehicle, support, everything) for just over $5k.
Back then it was all about the driving,
today it is more about the equipment.
Just saying....
still impressive
but for a million bucks.... nah, that was then, and this is now.

We spent 20k in 1985 to run a Honda
250 quad. Racing is expensive.
