Coco Knee Pads

Coco needs some new knee pads. A couple of years ago someone posted on Nomad the mfd, model number or whatever for them. I purchased two set for him but I didn't keep the paper work. Please post the info here, thanks.

You can see what they look like near the end of my trip report where Coco is in the wheelchair.

I found them. If only I had done a search on Nomad before posting.

They are called Bucket Boss and they are on Amazon. I'll order a couple of pair, they are like 17.95 per pair. I'm not sure I can get down there before the Baja 1000 in November.

He actually has a guy put two together for his use.

I think the reason he puts two together is to cover his leg stub while walking on his knees. Would you check this out. There maybe a longer knee pad that would work better than putting two together. Thanks

Here is whats on Amazon. The first is 8 inches and I think that is what Coco uses now. The second one is 12 inches and the third is 17 inches.

But these may be better since they would not need to be doubled up.

Or these

I don't know for sure thats why he does it and what you are taking him is certainly appreciated. The ones you ordered is what I took him last time. He may do it to get a thicker pad. Whatever his reason is it would be helpful in the future.

I emailed CLC about the bottom two knee pads I show above in my post and they say they are the same except for the padding.

Dear Tom,

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes the two kneepads are the same except the lining. Item#313 has Double Thickness Felt Lining. Item#309 has ½ “ thick felt lining.
