towing a vehicle across the border ????

I have a truck which blew a motor in San Quintin. I have a tow truck taking me to the border in Tecate but he will not cross the border. I need to find a way to get my truck towed across the border so I can deal with it on the U.S. side.

Any suggestions??

there are tow companies in tj that tow you across...then they drop you close to the border....they have limits ...you need then to call an American company...

the tj police called a guy for me in tj once...

at the border ...for me...no problem with the truck...

why cross in tecate...theres no service places for miles in the usa

You could rent a two dolly and pull it across with a truck.

Here's the guy to call:

Eduardo from Eddie's Towing in Tijuana
mobile: 011-52-1-664-319-5851 if calling from US
email: eddiestowingtj@hotmail.com

I'm sure he can tow your vehicle into the US because he has the necesary licenses to do it, and he'll come pick you up wherever you are in Baja, he has a couple of tow trucks available for what ever you needs might be...:light:
