Todos Santos/ Pescadero/Cerritos - Post Odile.
First Post on this forum. Haven't been to Pescadero/ San Pedrito in 10 years. Headed down next week. I've heard that it's built up quite a bit.
However, has anyone been since Odile? Have the breaks changed at all? Is there a ton of debris? Any help would be great. Can't wait to get back in the
water to an old favorite area.

Hi Beagle. Welcome aboard.
I would comment but I know nothing about surfing. Someone will chime in I am sure.

That certainly does not stop obnoxious aholes like mtngoat, chukie and micha from posting on a topic they know nothing about. Why should it stop you?

Yes, you will see a number of changes. Most of them not for the good. It all has to do with progress. Grommets aren't so welcome anymore.

Welcome back to the Los Esteros/San Pedrito beaches. Trailer Park washed away in 2002/ Juliette. Dry camping only since then. Odile washed the
arroyo but there will be campers on the north side of White House. Lots of sand a alittle debris but it's still beautiful! Sunsets and morning
sunrise over the Sierra Laguna. Lots of morning high tides and yes more surfers than 10 years ago but still mellow! Waves will be firing. I live
down here and walk the beach most mornings. Peaky south swell this morning. Waiting for N/W steamroller. what ya driving, I'll look you up.
Suerte. Tomas

Thanks Guys! Just got back. Yes, there is a lot more people and stuff. However, The area looks really good post Odile. The locals are hard at work and
back at it. Pedrito was firing one day and Cerritos was good on the point every day I was there. Beautiful Sunset sessions with few people (super
chill) in the water. I'm sure that was a freak occurrence though. I will be back very soon.
Wondering what sort of suit I might need in Feb. Maybe a Spring Suit? I get cold easily!
Thanks for the replies!

We are on our way to Pedritos with a 22 ft traveltrailer and PU with 4x4. Do you think we could make it to the beach? Are there any bigger campers in
there already?
Thanks a lot.

I didn't see a camper section but I'm sure there is one there if you've heard of one recently.
Which beach road are you talking about? To San Pedrito or Cerritos? Cerritos road is fine. Pedrito main road by the gas station should be ok. Has some
sharp turns and some ravine type stuff closer to the beach but I have a feeling you are talking about Cerritos and that should be OK.

Amigo Biel, took a run out to San Pedrito yesterday. Access is sandy for vehicles but the area where everyone camps has been washed & eroded
with very limited area available. No campers yet. I would suggest you disconnect your trailer and come out to see for yourself. If you drive in
the middle road in front of the old Restaurant/Bar you can see if you could wiggle thru to the beach. No camping at Cerritos Beagle boy. I'm sure
you will figure something out. Suerte. Tio

spent a day at Cerritos watching the surfers at the end of Oct and they seemed to be loving it
the waves seemed bigger than in the past
I am not a surfer, but I staid at a Holiday Inn
